Position Overview
Do you have aspirations to run your own business? If so, you may want to consider working in the office of Insurance Account Representative. As a member of our agency team, you have an opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be a State Farm Agent. You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance. This position will allow you to experience working in an agent's office and to explore the opportunity to become a State Farm agent yourself.

Client Acquisition:
Identify potential customers through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective customers to understand their needs and present suitable insurance products.

Stay informed about the various insurance products offered by the company, including life, health, auto, home, and business insurance.

Needs Assessment:
Assess customers' insurance needs and financial situations to recommend appropriate coverage.
Conduct risk assessments and help customers understand their insurance requirements.
Sales Process:
Prepare and present insurance quotes and proposals to customers.
Explain policy features, coverage options, and the benefits of different insurance plans.
Close sales and guide customers through the application and underwriting process.
Assess customers' insurance needs and financial situations to recommend appropriate coverage.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Bilingual - Spanish preferred
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
